WELL today was certainly an interesting day!

Started with a reveille at 6.30 am, a migration to KE7 to pick up my laptop n stuff, a heavy bout of exercise when I realised I forgot to bring my labcoat down, and culminating with a veryveryvery memorable tutorial with Prof Bay (see Daniel's blog for the full gory details).

The following conversation took place in the histo lab between Walter and Shaun

Walter: So did Jonathan get scr3wed by Prof Bay today?
Shaun: Well, very nearly literally, yes

And the thing he slapped was my right iliac crest, not any other thing! But as Daniel said, its a classic. My reputation with my anat group is now very enhanced. Much to their entertainment may I add. And my new jacket got dirty!

And to wind down the day, we just celebrated Edwin's birthday, and the Lakota people went for supper hoho...

Farewell was yesterday, one of the better ones I've seen in 7 years =) Yiyang has passed over the senior comm to me for now, so yesterday I had to make "inspiring" speeches on the spot to jio the new seniors. But for now, guess priority is mock comp. There's no such thing as persuading them to come. Either their heart is in it or it is not.

And whether it is or not does not detract from whatever friendship we may have either =) I have plenty of good friends from St. John who do not come back regularly, but they have equally important committments outside, which we of the regular comm respect. Am not sure myself how much I can commit what with IHG training n all, but as long as I can do my job I'll be happy.

Well, the Highness of Monday has worn a little thin, its back to the normal routine of trying to keep awake especially in my room (I don't want to go near the study room already). Still, FM tomorrow (yes, I'm still fencing, if only to break the monotony. It clears my head and lets me destress) and etc. Nothing makes one feel good like a valid close quarter hit =D
