Its been an interesting few days...

Been posted to train the Nursing Cadet team for N-comp in their last week (assignment by Yiyang within 24 hours of getting my pink IC back!), but don't think I really have time to make an impact =/ Hmmm trained NA as well when NC was doing home nursing. So had some fun working with the NA juniors, whom I last trained in.... oh I think it was year 1 or something? haha... Long long long time... Then had my first St. John dinner for a very long time as well, eating ba chor mee at block 85... Haha but as I mentioned, my perception of "good footdrill" has been dulled by the army; all drill is good compared to the SAF! (well, outside the provost PDS)

Fencing with VJ yesterday! Nice to fence with Jon Boon again especially... Everyone's improved and I'm so rusty haha... But still managed to do one close quarter flick on a fleche-ing Jon Boon which I'm highly satisfied with haha... The Year 1s were also pretty friendly... We were all on first name terms by the time the session dismissed... Hopefully, HOPEFULLY some will be committed enough to be as crazy as Maurice, me and Co. and stay back to fence everyone and anyone haha... Oh yea... there are enough girls to make up a girls' team as well now! Boon has invited me to come n do PT with them tomorrow which I probably will...

And finally, went out with Enjie today! What started out as an invitation to "catch up over dinner" eventually led to us watching Die Hard 4 (which we laughed a lot at several parts, the movie was soooooo improbable! But that was what made it fun to watch hahah)... We learnt that:

a) Male caucasian bodies and
b) Female asian bodies

seem impervious to fire, cold, impact, sharp objects, cars travelling at high speed, falls from height and what not... in such a movie... Man... I wouldn't think too much for the Bruce Willis' survival in real life =D

but, as I said, that's what made it fun to watch... Just sit back and don't even need to think...

Had dinner... walked around... learnt that being an MP is like *whoa* (can't say here, might get hauled in by ISA, but bear in mind these are the thoughts of a [senior] officer cadet)... But some of the stuff he learns is quite interesting! Oh most importantly we talked a lot.... Of course, a lot bout army, but also our class, how we missed VJ, even how we missed mugging hahaa.. (Yes! We miss mugging!)... But anyway, many thanks Enjie for saving my eyes from playing too much Red Alert 2...

Added later by edit: We also noticed, ok, I also noticed that there were a lot of RJ-ACJC groups of people walking around... Like, through the outing I think I saw at least 4 groups of people, both boys and girls, consisting of a mix from these two JCs... Its like it was RJ-go-out-with-ACJC day or something... On the other hand, it could be the same group, or fragments of the same group which I kept seeing... though I doubt they could cover ground as fast as us haha...

Also saw a group of students come clattering into the cinema rather noisily a few minutes after the movie started... Though instead of being annoyed, Enjie laughed softly and said something about how much they were like what our class used to be =D

Well anyway gotta go... Have found a marvellous new channel on TV to watch... Called the History Channel (something like Discovery or National Geographic), it has many great documentaries... There's one now about snipers which is super interesting hehe... Cheers!
