| Sunday, May 14, 2006 Ok. Du to feedback that my song was getting on people's nerves (due to them having to turn off their music when viewing it), I've removed it... not that I mind though... I made the decision on my own and not under duress or peer pressure =) I'll bring back another if I feel like it next time. *For those who don't know, the Biggles series is about this pilot called Biggles, who together with a bunch of friends goes around the globe solving mysteries and crimes etc. These adventures also comprise World Wars 1 and 2, the Cold War, the Korean War and is written by Captain W.E. Johns "Biggles Delivers the Goods" is an inspiring book cos its one in which Biggles gets a consecutive series of shocks one after another yet manages to remain calm, which includes: 1. Getting his cousin (my favourite character) captured by the enemy 2. Running short of fuel 3. Have immenient risk of invasion of their island 4. Their ally's home being overrun 5. Their supply ship supposedly getting captured How enviable that he managed to keep a level head throughout. I'm sure if he'd gotten C5 for his Chinese, done badly for his Chem SPA, or gotten a massive nosebleed-resembling-Ebola he would have been able to cope also. It shows that one is not as unflappable as one should be, more's the pity. Sigh =/ Well, I went running just now for the first time in dunno how long (excluding PE and fencing). Ran from my house across the hill that leads to the Chai Chee area and back again in 17 min 52 sec... Not too bad... I didn't get a stitch until 3/4 through the distance but I'm sure I was faster last time.... But at least I'm back on track. Tomorrow ought to go well, just that a) I ran at 6.30 pm when the weather was considerably cooler than 9.15 am. b) I didn't do 5 items before that c) My nosebleed is still coming on and off. If it happens tomorrow its going to be mighty inconvenient, not to mention highly embarrassing.... On the other hand, I was running more than 2.4 km.... But we'll see how it goes tomorrow.... Hopefully the two sets of stuff would balance out. But if I don't pass, then as Maurice says, "Maybe you'll be able to bring someone to Christ in your extra 2 months". I hope I can reach 41 for sit-and-reach again.... man... I totally cannot remember any Chinese at the moment... And my *beep* prelim is TOMORROW!! I still don't see how describing the beauty of a girl's hair, the way the dreary weather reflects your gloomy mood, or the feeling of proverbial maggots that are chewing your insides when you feel guilty have anything to do with real life (in fact, I don't ini English either). I'm like totally a literary caveman. But theoretically, I should be able to get a B4 at least, taking into consideration that I'm not allowed to use dictionaries.... Paper 1 should go ok if I have inspiration and can remember all the nice sentences. Paper 2... well, depends on your luck and all... TPH expects me to get a 1 though =/ But as my sister said "Good! Go for it!", so I guess I shall... haha... Oh yar... my sister also said something interesting yesterday.... We happened to be talking about how we were more memory oriented and thus more suited to taking Bio, and I was saying how I should have done Bio Chem in AHS then gone to S2 in VJC, to which she replied "Physics is a small price to pay for how fun your class is" or something like that.... Quite true also... haha... Alright anyway I should be off to cram more Chinese into my brain.. The sooner its over, the sooner I can get back to fencing and N-comp training... Hope I'm not killing myself and my future over CCAs... Just no time to stop and get away 'Cos I work so hard to make it everyday -Neutron Dance. Did they choose this song as VJ's "first mass dance" cos they knew 22 years down the road this is what the students would be feeling? Creepy... NS sounds fun according to Chee Keen and Yen Chin Randomness... ~JcZw~ at 8:41 pm
