Well so its my 200th post. Nothing truly significant to write about, but this is as good as any.

Chinese Prelim: 20th May, Saturday, likely 9 am - 12 pm
Chinese AO: 29th May, Monday, 8 am - 11 am
That's assuming optimal time with negligible time taken to collect papers, but then again transition should be pretty fast, considering that I'm only one of two students in VJ retaking Chinese.

To put it bluntly, the long weekend was busy busy busy. The MOE is never going to implement their so-called, vaunted, overblown, and I might even say hypocritical 5-day week unless they set up a booth at the entrance to every school to ensure that every weekend the students LEAVE ALL THEIR STUDYING STUFF IN SCHOOL and not study during the weekend.

Otherwise, holiday or not, we're plied with something in the line of

Bio tuitorial, 1
Maths tuitorial, 1 or more
Physic tuitorial, 1 very irritating one

and of course, who can forget

Chinese, 1 Paper 2, 1 compo and 1 cheng yu chang ju exercise, which took me the whole of sunday to do

not to mention

Chemistry Test, where through a series of unfortunate events I spent the weekend studying topics most of which were not tested!! In the end I've only done RX and RCHO. blah. Oh but happily it got postponed anyway...

Nuts to chinese lar. My prediction that it would double my workload is proving to be very true. Why am I even taking it man... It seems that at the end of the day the exam is down to luck luck and more luck. Stupid random events. Except the probability of getting a B3 and above IN THE EXAM is statistically against me. When I sit at my table and look at the thick pile of assignments in front of me sometimes I just stay there and stone cos I just feel thoroughly depressed. Its like, I'm so hopelessly overdue for 1 and almost half year already. And all this misery is just self-inflicted cos I still don't know what's wrong with my last paper. Don't tell me all the cliche stuff like "you must learnt to like chinese". No go. Tried. Doesn't work.

Hmm well, went to support my first match for the year... Of all things, Alon and I went to Kallang to watch Amanda and her team kill YJ. I guess there is a sort of beauty to netball too? I mean, the running and jumping etcetc, just that I don't appreciate it that much maybe? Well, considering that the last time I watched a netball match I was sec. 1 and watching AHS get flattened by Damai. But it also requires stamina and agility, which I can identify with.

Netball match at Kallang Netball Centre. Amanda was then playing as Wing Attack, the nearest player with the green... thing (i dunno what its called). The overcast sky, the speed of the players and the general low quality of the 6230 makes it quite a blur picture...

How Alon and I walked one huge round cos of a misleading sign that said "Kallang Netball Centre Carpark" and so were late for a match was an epic in itself... heheh.. by the end of which, he wanted to kill me.

But I'd say on the whole the match was very well played! VJ really dominated throughout the whole thing and all the players seemed better.. haha, then again, I'm a biased source =) But yea, they did a good job, and if I'm not wrong, are into the next round...

Oh yea. Handover's coming. It will be a time for reflection on the past year, not as a fencer (cos I'll still be one next year) but as a CCA leader.. But I'll leave that to a later date.. But when I think of this I sometimes feel a little depressed.. Ah well

Gone for now. Its late. Goodnight.
