Heyheyhey! Christmas is over yes... one more year and it will come again... Several things have happened these few days.

Received word from my fencing coach that if i joined VJ fencing, it would be unlikely to clash with St. John activities, since they usually train on monday evenings and saturday afternoons. Of course, it remains to my subject combination and timetable next year that will determine whether I can still come back. I sure hope I can though. Guess I have raved enough about why i want to come back already yes? Haha.... the lure of good friends is really hard to resist.

Second... my voice is back! I can talk normally.... hehe... which is good i guess, in the light of certain *ahem* upcoming activities ;-)

Mock comp coming yes.... All the best to every comp team that takes part, be you NC, AC or AA. Mock comp is not easy yeah, and much depends on every person pulling his / her weight. Even more is that you don't panic. Maybe I'm not the one to talk about pressure and panic, since I have never led a competition team before, but to me, the so-called panic factor is very important. Don't panic. Panic = bad. But if you do, then no one will blame you, for it is not unnatural since for many of you it is your first experience in competition. It is the experience that counts. The experience that you gain here, the mistakes that you make here will be what ensures that you don't repeat the mistakes in real life. It may not seem like much, and you may seem to be making the same mistakes again and again, but you all will be learning, yeah?

For several of you, this competition may be harder than for others. Y'all know what I mean. But it can be done. Others have done it before you.... look, i may not be very good at consoling or convincing people... but you all will be able to get through it... you don't have to be the best that others can be. Just the best that you can given the circumstances. Okay? Cheer up 'kay? Its not whether you win, or even if you get last (right, wei lun?) its that you gain experience... that you do your best.

So jia you! Everyone involved, whether you are competitor, marshal or judge! See y'all then =)
